:: Focus System ::
With Nikkon DSLR, press MENU, use the four-way control to choose the pencil icon and then go to the AF-Area Mode. Press right to view the three options, select one and press right to set.Single Area AF: Best use for stand still subject
Automatic Area AF: Wider area to focus & normally will focus on the closest subject. Useful for shooting a portrait especially.
Dynamic Area AF: Working together with AF-A or AF-C autofocus mode. Usually will lock the subject with light up red on the screen. Best use for erratically moving subject.
3D Tracking: Working together with AF-A or AF-C autofocus mode. This mode work very well for subject moving unpredictably but make sure the subject & background are not similar in colour.
:: Auto Focus Mode ::
AF-S (Single -servo AF): General mode to use, it's will be autofocus locks on the subject, no matter if subject or we change our distance the focusing still remind at the first lock focusing.AF-C (Continuous - servo AF): Work together with Dynamic Area AF setting & Choose option Continues shooting. Useful for moving subjects. The autofocus system will constantly analyse the subject distance & make adjustments. However tracking fast moving, action subject such as motorsports, Single AF point will improve accuracy.
AF-A (Auto-servo AF area): Mixing both mode option an above. It's will lock to stand still subject & detect to minor moving subject. However if it detects a major change in distance it does not refocus.
M (Manual lens focusing): Best use when low light, low contrast subject or shooting through glass where we may find AF struggles. Shooting close-ups when working with very short focusing distances.
Aoto Exposure Lock (AE-L) / (AF-L) Auto Focus Lock: This option on the top of the LCD monitor designed to lock the current exposure setting so that it does not change when we recompose image, even incoming light level change. Press halfway Shutter Button + (AE-L) / (AF-L) . Ideal for very dark/light subject or positioned in a bright/dim area.
:: Active D-Lighting ::
Designed to help ensure for retain highlight details when shooting in a high contrast situation, such as direct bright sunlight. The under exposure helps keep the highlight from becoming blown out & losing details. At the same time, it's also make auto adjustment to avoid losing details in the shadow area
:: Auto ISO mode ::
